# Acknowledgement

`Acknowledgement` is a data-transfer object in the `SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal.LegalApi` component grouping of `SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal`. It represents a single claimant/case acknowledgement record — the confirmation that a legal request (an OAR/hearing-related request identified by `RequestDate`) has been received for a given claim — returned to LegalApi callers as an item in an `AcknowledgementData` response.*

## Purpose
- Carries the identifying and descriptive fields (claim, claimant, WCB/claim numbers, worker SSN, issues, request date) needed to display or confirm a single legal acknowledgement to an external API consumer.*

## Behavioral notes
- This class has no methods or business logic; it is a plain property bag populated by the LegalApi layer for serialization to callers.*

## Constraints and usage notes
- Used as the element type of `AcknowledgementData.Data`; always returned wrapped with a `StatusCode`.*
